Bravilor Bonamat is manufacturer of professional beverage preparation systems, focussing on coffee and tea. Through the head-office in Heerhugowaard, branch offices in Germany, Great-Britain, France, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Poland and a worldwide network of dealers, products are being sold in more than eighty countries. Today about 350 employees are involved in developing, manufacturing and selling of more than 150.000 quality products per year. The complete production process takes place in Heerhugowaard, The Netherlands.
The company started in Amsterdam, as wholesalers serving requirements for hotels, hospitals and canteens. The unique development from wholesaler to manufacturer started in 1948 as a one-man-business of Mr. A.J.M. Verheijen. In 1959 his sons started the earliest production of filter coffee machines. It became a great success. Bravilor Bonamat is still family-owned and now managed by grandson Guus W. Verheijen. The company is known for its durable and innovating filter coffee machines.
Bravilor Bonamat is European market leader in this field. Besides an extensive range of filter equipment, Bravilor Bonamat also offers a range of instant and fresh brew equipment as well as a cold water machine, the Chiller. Machines for hot water and various accessories complete the assortment. In brief, Bravilor Bonamat offers the right solution for every location and situation.
Innovative
Throughout the product development of our equipment, user-friendliness, innovative technology and design are key factors. We at Bravilor Bonamat believe in progression. In order to achieve this we work with an integrated, multidisciplinary project approach according to concurrent engineering methods, in which there is a close cooperation with our customers and suppliers.
Of course our product engineers do not lack facilities and resources. For example we utilise 3D CAD designer applications, an EMC-measuring room, a laboratory for testing and research and we make use of rapid prototyping techniques. In order to optimise the R&D process, we use methods such as FMEA analysis, DFA and value engineering.
Quality and environment
Many parts are manufactured in-house where machine assembly takes place as well. All machines are fully tested in order to be able to guarantee the durable Bravilor Bonamat quality. For years the company complies with several national and international standards and inspection demands and only works with high-quality materials such as stainless steel and strong synthetic material.
Bravilor Bonamat cares about the environment. Production processes are adjusted to these standards and the machines consist of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials. No harmful or dangerous materials are used.
At the end of a machine’s service life it is easy to separate the used materials. By means of symbols, printed on the synthetic parts, its raw materials can easily be identified. This all according to the ISO 9001 standards (certified since 1 January 1992) and the ISO 14001 standards (certified since 1 May 2010).
